After studying business management at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Max Meister spent the first three years of his professional career working for a strategic consulting company. He became project manager at Branding-Institute in 2005, and in 2008 he was promoted to managing partner. His special field of expertise is advising large and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of strategic communication, brand management, brand evaluation, brand management and brand leveraging. An equity carve-out in 2010 resulted in a spin-off of the brand evaluation segment of the business, which then became BV4 AG.
Max Meister teaches strategic communication at Zurich University of Applied Sciences and marketing at the Western Switzerland University of Applied Sciences. He has published several books and articles on brand evaluation. As entrepreneur, coach and business angel, he supports various start-up companies in their efforts to successfully establish their business activity. He is a member of various governing boards, president of the “Inspiration Quarterly” young leaders network and jury member for the McKinsey Venture competition.
Through his investment vehicle Bigmont Ventures, Max Meister has invested in numerous start-up companies and helped them write their own success stories.
